This public art piece is a series of panels commissioned by the City of San Jose for Solari/Seven Trees Library. The panels form a walk way from one area of the library to another. It is a life-sized toy model kit of a bicycle. The concept is based on the idea that communities, although of different cultures and ethnicities, have the potential to work together as one. The project was designed, and supervised by Samuel Rodriguez. The welding and metal fabrication work was done by Matthew Rodriguez (Pops Fab) who also provided design consultation.
