MF DOOM: MM..FOOD (20TH ANNIVERSARY)

A comprehensive visual evolution I was commissioned for to celebrate the 20th anniversary of MF DOOM’s seminal album, MM..FOOD. In collaboration with Rhymesayers Entertainment and the MF DOOM Estate, I provided the strategic art direction and new illustrative systems used to repackage this hip-hop classic for a new generation.

The project involved a holistic reimagining of the album’s iconic themes, extending beyond physical music products into a bespoke ecosystem of merchandise, apparel, and limited-edition prints. By honoring the inventive wordplay and unique world-building of the original 2004 release, my work ensures the enduring visual durability of DOOM’s legacy within the cultural canon.

Puma x 1800 Tequila: The Sam Rodriguez Clyde

A triple-threat collaboration commissioned to celebrate the intersection of street culture, heritage spirits, and iconic sportswear. I was tasked with the complete creative direction of my own Puma Clyde, a silhouette I famously sported during my formative years as a teenage graffiti artist. This project represents a full-circle moment where raw street energy meets the disciplined systems of global brand partners.

The design process involved a holistic approach to the shoe’s DNA, from the strategic selection of premium materials and a custom color story to the execution of a signature typographical illustration. The final product serves as a permanent cultural asset, featuring my name and signature integrated into the design—a testament to visual durability in the "Museum Lobby" era of streetwear.
